Event 1
WHAT: Rolando Park Elementary School received a $10,000 grant from Target that will provide 100 students in grades K-5 with $100 gift cards to purchase clothes and school supplies.

This is the second consecutive year Rolando Park Elementary students have been awarded a Target grant to buy clothes and school supplies. The school doubled its grant amount this year to include 100 students.
Rolando Park Elementary's partnership with Target and resulting shopping trip for students is one of several reasons the school is being recognized in September by the district with a QSiEN Award for its parent and community engagement efforts. The Quality Schools in Every Neighborhood Awards (QSiEN) are given to schools that show immense progress in reaching goals outlined in the Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP).
SPEAKERS: Rolando Park Principal Anthony DeLuca, students and parents
