San Diego Unified to Host Press Conference with San Diego Chief of Police and San Diego District Attorney to Address Plan of Action and Consequences of Making Threats to Schools

WHAT: San Diego Unified School District Superintendent Cindy Marten and School Police Chief Mike Marquez will host a press conference with San Diego Chief of Police David Nisleit and San Diego District Attorney Summer Stephan to discuss the district's collaboration with law enforcement and its ongoing commitment to keep schools safe and secure. The speakers will discuss the increased number of school threats since February 14, the consequences of false threats, and the importance of communication among law enforcement agencies, schools, students, parents and the community.
