Proposed Attendance Boundary Revisions 2023-24

The Instructional Facilities Planning Department (IFPD) has responsibility for district-wide and inter-divisional coordination for establishing school attendance boundaries. Administrative Regulation 5116 and Board Policy 5116 are the relevant policy documents.

For the 2023-24 school year, IFPD staff proposes attendance boundary revisions in the following three circumstances.

 


elementary attendance area rebalancing (henry)

Elementary attendance area rebalancing is proposed for Benchley/Weinberger and Gage Elementary schools in the 2023-24 school year.  Learn about the proposed revisions on this Web Page.

 

elementary attendance area rebalancing (san diego)

Elementary attendance area rebalancing is proposed for Birney, Garfield, and Jefferson Elementary schools in the 2023-24 school year.  Learn about the proposed revisions on this Web Page.

 

Attendance area revisions (clairemont and madison clusters)

Attendance boundary revisions are proposed between Clairemont Canyons Academy and Holmes Elementary schools, Innovation and Marston Middle schools, and Clairemont and Madison High schools in the 2023-24 school year.  Learn about the proposed revisions on this Web Page.

Update as of October 19, 2022:  Due to an updated construction schedule from the developer, the proposed boundary change will not be moving forward for the 2023-24 academic year.  The District will reach out to the community at an appropriate time in the future.
