Strategic Planning for Student Achievement

The Strategic Planning for Student Achievement Department supports categorical programs and operations across the district.

Categorical support consists of providing guidance and assistance to schools implementing programs and activities funded through Title I and Comprehensive Support and Improvement. Responsibilities include supporting School Site Councils (SSCs) and the District Advisory Council (DAC) to effectively carry out their assigned responsibilities, overseeing the School Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA), Title I Schoolwide Programs (SWP), and coordinating the California Department of Education's (CDE) Federal Program Monitoring (FPM) on-site and online reviews and related activities.  Additional support is provided to schools in monitoring and implementing their Local Control Funding Formula (LCFF) funds.
